Randy Archer returns to perform on the Music City Hayride show on April 13, 2018.
Randy began developing his talents as a young boy in South Georgia playing bass guitar and singing with his families Gospel Group.
However 1989 found Randy on Music Row in Nashville, Tennessee hoping to find that ever-elusive break as a performer.
“The Break Did Come” Archer was soon tapped as a much sought out singer/performer and found himself in recording studios and on stages carving out a living doing what he loved to do.
1991 ushered in even bigger things for this Southern Boy. Songwriting had become another passion of Archers’ and some of the biggest names in the country music genre started recording his songs. At last count, Randy’s penmanship has contributed to album sales in excess of Twelve Million Albums sold!
Archer also recorded for Nashville based Atlantic Records and toured extensively in the US and Europe.
Acting was something Archer always wanted to do so he developed characters and skits and incorporated it in his performances as well.
Archer is also accomplished Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar, Lead and Harmony Vocals and Music Production.
Archer recently spent a year in Pigeon Forge Tennessee writing script and songs as well as performing in Dolly Parton’s newest dinner theater.
Randy is an FAA licensed pilot so on his days off, he’s either in the air flying or, on his farm tending to his cattle and horses.
“I have a lot of hobbies and have interest in lots of things Archer says, but if I had to choose just one, it would be on stage entertaining and hopefully bringing a smile to a lot of faces…”
